Sustainability is a core value here at Getaway Motorhomes. Whilst we understand that the manufacturing of a motorhome is resource-heavy, we endeavour to take all practicable steps to minimise our carbon footprint as a business. There are many environmental benefits of a motorhome holiday. For example, a family of four flying to Miami produces around ten tonnes of carbon. Similarly, a trip to Malaga, Spain produces around two and a half tonnes of carbon. Whereas a family of four in a motorhome, travelling a thousand kilometres, produces only a fraction of these emissions with indications in the range of 0.3-0.4 tonnes! - in addition, over ninety per cent of motorhome holidays are taken in the

The UK, limiting the use of emission heavy-travel, which is why it is the perfect choice for those who are environmentally conscious.

• All our motorhomes have solar panels, powering the leisure battery. This also allows for wild camping too!

• We offer bike hire with our motorhomes so that you can explore in an environmentally-friendly way.

• We try our best to ensure that all items we supply are consciously sourced. 

• We supply eco-friendly and cruelty-free products in our motorhomes, such as environmentally friendly washing up liquid and cleaning products from Smol, all in reusable containers, limiting single-use plastic.
